In addition to the VNL affiliation, last night we also made another huge announcement - DDNA now has a Men's Team playing in the M League (Men's State League) at Parkville. Craig Moore (our Open 2 Rep Coach) will play in and coach the team.
To mark the occasion and welcome the guys into the fold, they took on our Open 1 girls in an exhibition match. It was great to see so much talent out on the court, with neither team holding back. There was just a one-point difference in the end.

Community Sports Camps will be running a netball program at the Templestowe Courts in the upcoming July School Holidays. This program is targeted at primary aged children (5-12 years of age). Participants can attend for either one or two days.
The program will be run by qualified coaches who have their Working With Children and First Aid Certificates.

A great weekend for seven DDNA teams who competed at the Echuca Tournament this weekend. Well done to our 15/1 team on their Grand Final win and our 17s on being Runners-Up in their Grand Final.
Thanks to Jane and Sonia for their hard work in pulling this weekend together..... a monumental feat. Also thanks to our coaches (Sara, Alexia, Nikki, Sonia again, Cheryl, Lindsay, Jasmine and Michelle) and our umpires (Tom, Mahalia, Nathan and Zoe) for supporting the Association.
The 2014 State Netball Titles will be held at the State Netball Centre (Parkville) on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th October 2014. This competition provides a fantastic opportunity for all 19 regions in Victoria to come together and compete in the 15/Under, 17/Under, Open and All Abilities netball divisions.
DDNA is part of the Chisholm Region. The selection trials for the 15/U, 17/U and Open Chisholm Region teams will take place on Sunday, June 15th from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the DDNA stadium in Templestowe.
